geez, has it really been two months?
The ceremony in Boston was beautiful, everything went without a hitch and we all had a great time. Saying our vows (which Wayne and I worked hard on!), voicing our commitment in front of our community, was so amazing, and feeling their support was phenomenal. Thank you, everyone who came and shared the day with us - and for those who couldn't make it, we will come and visit you.
People keep asking us, "is it different now that you're married?" Different? In the day to day, it doesn't seem like it. I mean, we've been living together for five years now. (Actually it's probably a little less stressful now that the wedding is OVER.) We've always talked about our future dreams, hopes and plans - and from early on in our relationship we started including each other in those anyway. I guess the wedding was more a marker, a formalization of that. And I suppose it opens up the possibilities of (gasp) babies in the (far distant) future. I do however get to wear a kickass ring now, so there.
and sannie said that I should go around showing off the ring at my high school reunion saying, "I'm married, bitches!". Uh, that didn't quite happen.
