so today i finally gave up my last piece of identification that marked me as a native New Jerseyan. Of course I waited until the very last minute before my old driver's license expired (so the photo didn't look like me at all anymore), so I could proudly walk into any bar in New England, proclaiming that I was from the tri-state area (take that you Red Sox fans!). now what am I?? After almost 8 years of living in Massachusetts, I am now identified as permanently hailing from Massachusetts. I don't know how I feel about that. Well, at least the lady at the DMV heaped praises on me for signing up to be an organ donor.
